March Artist Collage Kathy Saigh was born and raised in Miami (a Florida Native) and attended Florida State University. She moved to Stuart in 1980. Her work shows her appreciation for the Florida wilderness and waterways, especially the natural beauty of the ocean. Working in the arts for the past 30 years, her passion for putting color on a white page and watching how it responds, is one of her pleasures in working in the arts. In 2013, she retired and became a full time artist. She has studied with Barbara Carswell at the Lighthouse Gallery in Tequesta and currently is working with Sharon Ferina and Karen Leffel-Massengill. Kathy is a member of the Martin County Artist’s Association and the Art Association of Palm City.
Petrea Moriarty originally from Massachusetts has resided in Hobe Sound for the past 17 years. She has painted on and off for over 40 years, mostly in oils on canvas. She is a member of the Hobe Sound Art League.
Sheri Nielsen is a graduate of The State University of New York College at New Paltz. She studied at The University of Colorado and The Woodstock School of Art. She also attended Goddard College in Vermont, while pursuing a Masters Degree in Fine Art. Sheri is a certified art teacher and has enjoyed teaching in the public school system both in Elementary and Secondary levels. Shari is primarily a landscape painter. She has exhibited her work in several galleries on the Treasure Coast . Her work tries to capture a sense of place and has an emotional connection to nature and the environment.
Cathy Wilkinson has been a painter for over thirty years. She has shown her work throughout central New York. She is currently represented by galleries in Syracuse, Endicott, Hamilton, Barneveld and Beaufort, South Carolina. Wilkinson’s paintings represents a definite style that can best be described as a combination of pop art imagery and the trompe l’oeil tradition, using contemporary references to link her work with present day icons.
