Stuart, FL– Molly’s Gallery Season Finale April 2, 2015, 5:30-7pm
MOLLY’S HOUSE SEASON FINALE ART EXHIBIT STUART – Molly’s Gallery will host our final art exhibit of the season, Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 5:30 – 7 p.m. This monthly art exhibit benefits Molly’s House Art and healing program. Admission is $5 donation per person. Stroll through the three floors of art while listening to the music of Taafkab Etalia, meeting the artists, enjoying hors d’oeurves, wine and champagne. Artists exhibiting in April include Marney McKee, Carolyn Sadowski, Chris Gunkel and Marlene Maloney.
Chris A. Gunkel, artist, painter, illustrator and wall art has a BA in graphic arts, Oakland with extended education at EMU, Glassel, LA Art Center Design. Chris spent 20 years as an Advertising Agency Executive and partner in a Houston, Texas graphic firm. Chris has exhibited in Houston, Detroit and Stuart. Chris has an art studio in Stuart and currently has an exhibit of his acrylics at Art Gumbo Gallery.
Carolyn Sadowski uses brush and palette knife to produce impressionistic oil paintings. She is a well- known artist in Michigan, the Florida Keys and Canada. She majored in fine arts at Marygrove College in Detroit and American University in Washington, D.C. Carolyn has received many awards for her exceptional work.
Marlene Maloney has been an artist most of her life. Marlene has painted in all of the mediums. Since her recovery from cancer in 2005, she picked up art again for therapy. She has exhibited at the Vero Beach Art Museum and has done commission work. Her main medium is acrylic and mainly paints landscapes.
Marney McKee, a North Carolina native, is now a Jensen Beach, Florida artist. She works predominantly in acrylics on canvas and wall murals but also uses pen and ink and watercolor. Marney majored in Art Education with a minor in Art History at East Carolina University. The inspiration for her work is nature and plants, which is abundant in Florida. Her paintings and murals are located in private residences or businesses in North Carolina and Florida.

Molly’s Gallery is part of the Molly’s House Art &Healing program for the patients and families who stay at Molly’s House during a medical crisis.
Molly’s House is a 501(c)3 hospital hospitality house that offers affordable, temporary accommodations for adult and children patients and their families receiving medical care on the Treasure Coast. The House services Martin, St. Lucie, Palm Beach, Okeechobee and Indian River Counties. The Victorian style house features 14 bedrooms with private baths, a living room, two kitchens, a laundry facility, a chapel, a library and outside areas for relaxing.
