Caregiver Respite Program

Click here for the Caregiver Application

The Caregiver Respite Program began in 2012 with a grant from the William and Helen Thomas Charitable Trust. Since the inception of this program thirty caregivers have participated getting the rest they needed through this program.

Most of these caregivers provide 24/7 care for their loved one and very seldom have the opportunity to take a few days off without having to pay for healthcare service for their loved one (which can be very expensive based upon the needs of that particular individual). The respite of up to 4 days and 3 nights provided by Molly’s House Caregiver Respite Program is all paid for through the grant, which makes this program special. Caregivers are also treated to a spa service or other benefit as available. We are the only facility on the Treasure Coast that provides this type of program at no cost to the caregiver.

If you know of a Caregiver that needs a few days of rest, please have them contact Molly’s House for an application. We look forward to continue to serve the caregiver population on the Treasure Coast in 2015 through the generous grants from Women In Philanthropy, Loblolly Community Foundation, the William and Helen Thomas Charitable Trust, and other generous donors.

Caregivers who wish to participate can call Molly’s House at 772-223-6659, or use the link at the top of this page to download an application.
